Ukrainian beauty Ekaterina Shipunova became the absolute champion of the World Cup in bodybuilding in Madrid

Ukrainian athlete Kateryna Shipunova caused a real sensation at the World Bodybuilding Cup held in Madrid. Representing Kyiv and coached by Oleksandr Sirenko, she won the body fitness category for women over 168 cm tall and was also crowned the overall champion of the competition.

This success was yet another confirmation of the athlete's high level of training. Back in November 2024, Shipunova won the IFBB World Cup in bodybuilding and fitness, held in the Spanish city of Santa Susanna.

It is worth noting that just three weeks before the start, Kateryna changed her category from “bikini” to “bodyfitness.” At first glance, this step seemed risky, but it was precisely this that brought the athlete success. On Instagram, Shipunova admitted that she decided to take this step after hearing the words of her mentor at the Arnold Classic tournament. The coach convinced her that only in the new category would she be able to unlock her potential and perform well on stage.

The victory in Madrid was not only a personal triumph for Kateryna, but also an important achievement for Ukrainian bodybuilding as a whole.
